I wrote this when I was 25. I had just moved to LA and was stretching my 'adult' muscles. NOT LIKE THAT...okay, a little like that. This captures part of that time in my life. Still makes me smile.

my bed after sex
I'll find, nestled in an elastic corner:
The odd pair
Of purple underwear -
A sleepy giggling reminder
of the time before.
